For the Love of Harwich Nature Retreat

QiGong & Mindful Outdoor Nature Experience

Please join Andrea Higgins (Kripalu Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide) and Andrea Belford (QiGong Instructor, capecodqigong.org) to enhance your awareness and peace of mind at the beautiful D. Isabel Smith Monomoy River Conservation Lands. Fall in love with Harwich while admiring nature at this 77-acre Preserve, offering peaceful wooded trails and stunning views of the Monomoy River (Muddy Creek) as it flows towards Pleasant Bay.

This retreat will feature a QiGong session and a Mindful Outdoor Experience to engage the senses. QiGong is an ancient Chinese practice that means 'the practice of cultivating life force energy.' Based on the 5 Elements of Nature - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, the practice is a series of slow and gentle movements that combine proper posture, healthy breathing, and mindfulness. By connecting out in nature together, we achieve and maintain health, healing, and vitality of the body, mind, and spirit. This retreat will focus on the Fire Element for the heart with movements to improve circulation, increase mental clarity, boost energy levels, and expand our capacity for unconditional love.

Join us on this retreat to tune in to your senses, open up your heart, and feel the vital life force energy that flows through us, and all living things.
