Butterfly Walks

Join a butterfly walk this summer with leaders Karen and Gerry Beetham at Thompson’s Field Conservation Area in Harwich. Watch for butterflies including monarchs, swallowtails, pearl crescents, and others to discover their different markings. Learn about their life cycle, where they go in the winter, and how their lives intersect with birds. You will also pick up tips on how to attract butterflies to your own yard. Bring binoculars and/or a camera.

Dates:

Friday, July 8th: 10 a.m. - noon

Friday, August 5th: 10 a.m. - noon

Rain date is the Saturday after each walk.

Cost: $20 per person
