Morris Island Horseshoe Crab Hike

Sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Chatham Conservation Foundation, please join walk leader Mark McGrath for a high tide Horseshoe Crab Hike at Morris Island in Chatham. This time of year, horseshoe crabs gather and mate along coastal beaches at high tides. Walk along the trail and beach enjoying scenic views while learning about the life cycle of this "living fossil" that's been around since the time of the dinosaurs.

The walk will be less than 2.5 miles at a slow/moderate pace on pavement, firm trails, and soft sand. Please wear water shoes or old sneakers that can get wet.

Date:

Saturday, June 8th (3-5 p.m.)

Cost: $15 per person

Driving directions to the starting point will be included with your reservation confirmation email.
