Provincetown Dune Hike

Cosponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust and Provincetown Conservation Trust, join walk leader Mark McGrath to see spectacular Outer Cape dune scenery. The hike will start with a steep but short climb to the top of a dune with a remarkable view out towards the Atlantic Ocean, across desert, other-worldly dune peaks and valleys, and pine forest. Discover the rich history of the dune shacks that we will see along the way including the stories of the seamen who built them and the artists who have stayed there.

This hike will be 2.5 miles over and around dune hills through soft sand and will start and end at the Snail Road parking area. Walkers should be in excellent physical condition to join this hike.
