Preschool Explorers

If you have kids or grandkids ages 2-5, please join naturalist Andrea Higgins for a Preschool Explorer Adventure to discover different sanctuaries and admire the abundant beauty nature holds. April is such an inviting time to get outside and learn about nature as the earth springs back to life. Birds are singing, frogs are calling, and flowers are blooming.

Join us to traverse trails, listen to stories, and learn about plants and animals while creating memories with your youngsters. Together we will discover patches of daffodils, the shores of Nantucket Sound, and more! 

Dates:

  • Tues., April 2nd (9-10:30 a.m.): Forest Beach Conservation Area, Chatham, cosponsored by HCT and Chatham Conservation Foundation
  • Tues., April 9th (9-10:30 a.m.): Sylvan Gardens, Chatham, cosponsored by HCT and Friends of Sylvan Gardens
  • Tues., April 16th (9-10:30 a.m.): Red River Beach
  • Tues., April 23rd (9-10:30 a.m.): Sylvan Gardens, Chatham, cosponsored by HCT and Friends of Sylvan Gardens
  • Tues., April 30th (9-10:30 a.m.): Pleasant Bay Woodlands​

    Thanks to a generous donor supporting HCT’s early childhood family programs, these adventures are now free.
