November Cold Brook Birding Walks

Search for birds of all species while strolling vibrant paths decorated in an array of autumnal foliage at the scenic Cold Brook Preserve. This time of year, migratory species can be spotted overhead on their journeys to southern wintering grounds. Others have already completed their migration, joining year-round residents here on Cape Cod. Possible observations include birds of prey, songbirds, herons, and waterfowl.

Join Field Naturalist and author Peter Trull for an exploration of diverse habitats as he identifies and teaches about the life history of birds. Practice your birding skills and discover the intricacies of the avian world. All birding interest and experience levels welcome!

Peter Trull has been involved in Research and Education for over 45 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has written nine books about Cape Cod natural history. His most recent book Birds of Paradox-The Life of Terns was released in spring 2019. His upcoming book, Cape Cod – Once Around the Sun, is a tribute to John Hay and his 1961 classic Nature’s Year.
