Bell's Neck Birding Walks
This October, please join field naturalist and author Peter Trull for a birding walk at Bell's Neck Conservation Lands. Search the forests decorated with leaves in a rainbow of autumn earth tones and the sparkling West Reservoir for shorebirds, songbirds, raptors, and more. This is a special time of year with great avian diversity on Cape Cod as westerly winds and weather fronts bring birds that may only be spotted in this region in fall and early winter. Immerse yourself into the life of birds by learning about species identification, unique adaptations, and behaviors. All birding interest and experience levels welcome!
Peter Trull has been involved in Research and Education for over 45 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has written nine books about Cape Cod natural history. His most recent book Birds of Paradox-The Life of Terns was released in spring 2019. His upcoming book, Cape Cod – Once Around the Sun, is a tribute to John Hay and his 1961 classic Nature’s Year.
Each walk is $20 per person.
You will receive driving directions with your confirmation email.
